San Francisco Tasting: San Francisco Tasting: The third weekend of March, every year, the Rhone Rangers ride into San Francisco to show their wines at Fort Mason. The weekend begins with a Winemaker Dinner on Saturday evening, Followed by a seminar and Grand Tasting on Sunday. Mark your calendars! The dates for the Rhone Rangers Twelfth Annual San Francisco Tasting at Fort Mason will be March 21-22, 2009. Los Angeles Trade Tasting: Every Spring Rhone Ranger wineries from the the Central Coast, North Coast, and Pacific Northwest gather in Los Angeles for the annual Rhone Rangers Los Angeles Trade Tasting. You can read details about the wineries and wines poured in 2007 by clicking here. In 2008, the event will be held June 4th, and we plan to include an event open to consumers as well! Check back here for details. Northwest Grand Tasting: Each July, Rhone Ranger wineries from the Pacific Northwest and the rest of America converge on Seattle for the Northwest Grand Tasting. The 2008 events will take place July 8-9, and again include the Pacific Northwest trade tasting on Tuesday, July 8th, and (in partnership with FareStart) the Guest Chef on the Waterfront event on July 9th.
Regional Chapter Event: 2008 Paso Robles Rhone Rangers Experience 2008 Paso Robles Rhone Ranger Experience, Sunday, February 17th, 2008: Over 250 consumers and trade joined 27 members of the Paso Robles Rhone Rangers chapter for a day immersed in Rhones. Some of the leading winemakers and vitculturalists in the world of Rhone varietals took participants through a fun, education-focused immersion into the world of Paso Robles Rhones. The day's events included a seminar on "Rhone Essentials" with tastings of the region's core Rhone varietals and blends, a vintners' lunch where attendees and vintners shared food, wine and conversation, and a walk-around tasting featuring wines from all twenty-seven members of the Paso Robles chapter of the Rhone Rangers. Tickets for seminar, lunch and tasting were just $50/person, and tickets to the tasting were $20/person. Qualified trade was admitted free to the tasting with advance registration.
